Before you begin

The current Gmail SMTP setup uses a Google App Password, not your normal Google password. Enable 2-Step Verification on the Google account first. You may view the video bellow for getting Google SMTP password.

AeroMailer settings

  • Host: smtp.gmail.com
  • Port: 587 with STARTTLS, or 465 with SSL
  • Username: your complete Gmail address
  • Password: the generated Google App Password
  • From email: normally the same Gmail address
